CBL 31: Using BC liner to get a seal during RCT and using it as a provisional

Allen Ali Nasseh   uploaded 4 years ago

BC Liner is an upcoming product developed by RWE and distributed through BrasselerUSA. This video shows one of its many applications. Here, Dr. Nasseh uses the material to 1. Seal areas of leakage due to decay and microleakage during a root canal revision and also to fill the canal up to the top as a provisional filling after RCT. No bonding agent required. Only acid etch with Phosphoric acid for 10-15sec prior to application of the material.

Is there any advantage to using this product instead of Vitrebond as a liner for routine restorative? Also, do desensitizers (Gluma) affect the bond?
