Dr. Cymerman will focus on recent advances in Endodontics including Endodontic diagnostic techniques and treatment planning. The evidenced-based use of cone beam computed tomography will be reviewed for use in treatment decision analysis and to select the best treatment options for the patient. Local anesthesia, proper endodontic access, use of apex locators, and restoring the endodontically treated tooth will also be discussed. The participant will learn the blend technique for appropriate use of heat treated and non-heat treated rotary files for efficient and conservative instrumentation of the root canal system. In the hands-on workshop, all participants will learn how to use it effectively in all root canal types. Furthermore, a simple yet effective obturation method will be introduced that combines the latest in material science with endodontic synchronicity for passive, bonded root canal obturation. At the conclusion of this course, attendees will:
Appreciate the scientific concepts for success by incorporating new steps during clinical care.
Understand the importance of proper endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning in determining the best care for their patients.
Gain a better understanding of all endodontic procedures from initial diagnosis through restoration of the tooth.
