Join Dr. Nasseh in this down to earth course with a real-world approach to endodontic treatment.
As a result of recent improvements in metallurgy, enhanced designs, and innovative rotary file motions, we now need to understand
how these changes affect clinical instrumentation.
Root canal obturation has been revolutionized in the area of cement/sealer technology. These obturation improvements are allowing
more efficient obturation techniques at lower costs.
Create more efficient instrumentation and obturation techniques that are safe, simple, and predictable. During this presentation, Dr.
Nasseh will talk about these points with specific emphasis on access, irrigation, instrumentation, and obturation.
This all day ‘must see’ event will also include a demonstration that showcases a simple instrumentation and obturation system. After
attending this workshop, you will have a full understanding of this system which will help improve the predictability of your cases
while dramatically reducing instrument separation.
All participants will have the opportunity to validate these concepts during the workshop. Acrylic blocks will be used for this
exercise. If available, participants are encouraged to bring sterile accessed and canal validated extracted teeth representative of the
kind of cases they do clinically.
Participants will:
1. Learn how file design, metallurgy and motion influences instrumentation safety and efficiency.
2. Participants will learn the benefits of reciprocation motion for safe and simple instrumentation and learn an efficient protocol for
its clinical use.
3. Discover how instrumentation and obturation protocols can be combined as a comprehensive system to achieve both efficiency
and predictability in most clinical situations.
4. Be able to describe the proper protocol for safe and effective instrumentation of a given canal and cone fit for obturation in different
scenarios.
5. Describe the simple, bonded obturation technique of the fitted gutta percha in the prepared canal.
6. Be able to utilize the advantage of Hydraulic Condensation to prepare a quick post space in the canal, when needed.

Mastership Two-day Lecture & Hands-on Program: This Mastership two-day lecture and hands on program will provide detailed methods to improve clinical patient care and will demonstrate how endodontic therapy can be precise, predictable and enjoyable. Endodontics has evolved considerably in the recent past with the aim of improving patient satisfaction while improving the clinical quality of care. During this multiple day mastership program, we will focus on various aspects of endodontic care spanning from diagnosis and access to precision instrumentation and obturation. The emphasis is based on the clinical management of patients with the goal of acquiring the knowledge base to deliver efficient and predictable endodontic care while reducing file separation, ledging and transportation. This course will cover phases of non-surgical endodontics such as access, diagnostic tools, biomechanical debridement, documentation, endodontic re-treatment as well as apical and peri-radicular surgery. Specifics will include:

Efficient rotary instrumentation: Advantages of conservative taper preparation as a new “Blend Technique” will be introduced resulting in safe, efficient instrumentation for all root canal types.

Debridement of oval and irregular shaped canals; Enhanced disinfection and benefits of piezoelectric ultrasonics improving the long-term prognosis of the tooth. Non- surgical endodontic re-treatment and advantages of integrated apex locator/handpiece technology will also be discussed.

Obturation: Hydraulic Condensation as the latest and most efficient 3-D bonded obturation method incorporating Bio-Ceramic sealer technology. Precise obturation of large under- developed irregular canals and one visit apexification will be discussed step by step.

Restoration of endodontically treated teeth; perforation repair; efficient drill- less anatomical post preparation and placement; safe endodontic access on crowns: and post removal.

Basics of apical and peri-radicular surgery: Effective root resection, apical preparation and Bio-Ceramic retrograde obturation techniques.

Effective Non-vital Intra-coronal Bleaching will also be covered.
Hands on component will include:

Rotary instrumentation with the ESBlend Technique, using both, Non-heat treated and heat-treated files.

Use of Bio-ceramics: Obturation using Hydraulic Bonded 3-D Condensation. Perforation repair using the latest Bio-ceramics root repair materials.

Practice the “drill-less post preparation and placement”.

Place Bio-Active (Bio-mimetic restorative materials) and how they can be used in conjunction with Bio-Ceramics in endodontics.

Plastic teeth and plastic blocks with simulated canals will be provided for your convenience.

Lecture and Hands on Workshop: Nearly 32 years after the introduction of Nickel Titanium Rotary Files to endodontics, we’ve learned much about the clinical strengths and limitations of these great instruments. As a result of recent improvements in metallurgy, enhanced designs, and innovative rotary file motions, we now need to understand how these changes affect clinical instrumentation. Furthermore, we must take advantage of these improvements to create an instrumentation protocol that combines Safety with Simplicity.
As a result of recent advances in metallurgy, we now have both heat treated and non-heat treated rotary files. They each possess different properties, and both have indications for use as well as limitations. At Real World Endo, we believe these improvements should be employed to their utmost advantage. Consequently, we have developed a blended technique that combines the advantages of both heat treated and non-heat treated files into one Awesome Endodontic Technique!!!
In this hands-on workshop, our new “Blend Technique” will be introduced, and participants will learn how to use it effectively in all root canal types. After attending this workshop, you will improve your instrumentation predictability while dramatically reducing instrument separation. Furthermore, a simple yet effective obturation method will be introduced that combines the latest in material science with endodontic synchronicity for passive, bonded root canal obturation.
All participants will have the opportunity to validate these concepts during the workshop. Get ready to improve your instrumentation predictability and gutta percha cone-fit while dramatically reducing instrument separation. Real World Endo remains dedicated to the preservation of the natural dentition. At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will:
1.
Learn how rotary file design influences instrumentation safety and efficiency.
2.
Comprehend the advantages of heat-treated files and how best to use them.
3.
Discover the most effective instrument motions available for shaping root canals and their advantages and limitations.
4.
Fully understand the need to combine the latest technology with long established, evidence-based endodontic principles.
5.
Completely understand the need to utilize piezoelectric ultrasonics in both access and three-dimensional irrigation.
6.
Fully appreciate the benefits of bioceramic obturation and the incorporation of matching posts.
7.
