Real World Endo™ – “The Institute Course” is an intense course that covers a broad spectrum of topics. We will demystify endodontics, covering everything from logical diagnosis to hydraulic condensation. Our approach is entirely practical and this is an all-inclusive course for the general practitioner that includes significant hands-on instruction. Drs. Koch and Gatti approach endodontic education from a very different perspective; that of a real-world clinician. This course will also address the issue of “endo versus implant” from the perspective of an experienced endodontist who is also board certified in implant placement (Dr. Gatti). This timely discussion will be comprehensive although there is not a specific hands-on component for dental implants.
During the two-day experience, you will be neither intimidated nor seduced by technology. Focus will be on combining the latest technology with long standing evidence based endodontic principles. The goal is to have you move safely from endodontics to final tooth restoration. This course will place great emphasis on hands-on sessions. Drs. Koch & Gatti strive to make technology simple.
Endodontic strategies and techniques developed over years of clinical practice will be shared with all attendees. These time-tested techniques will work well for you too! Whether it is creating proper straight-line access, or whether it is using the new “Blend Technique” to achieve predictable shaping results, or whether it is learning how to place non-destructive posts, you the attendee, will actually have the opportunity to practice these techniques in the lab.
You will learn how to:
- Differentiate between an endodontic case and the placement of a dental implant.
- Routinely anesthetize “Hot Teeth” effectively.
- Visualize and create the “Ideal Access” preparation.
- Fully understand the “Crown-Down” philosophy.
- Appreciate and perform the new “Blend Technique” of rotary instrumentation.
- Make the correct decision whether the case is endodontics or implantology.
- Fill root canals using a bioceramic technique and hydraulic condensation.
- Perform predictable pulp caps and pulpotomies using bioceramic putty.
- Effectively use ultrasonic technology in your endodontics.
- Easily use enhanced magnification and light in your clinical setting
