Hello All,I just wonder if 1min disinfection of guta cote prior to obturation is enough to eliminate all bacteriaWhat about to sterilised them prior to use?Thanks.

In reply to Nastya Koteva One min is enough. We've looked at this with the residents and actually even 30 seconds is enough. Don't forget that it's just surface disinfection. These cones are supposed to be clean, the disinfection is to be on the safe side. Also, and especially if you use the bioceramic sealer, the surface will further disinfect with it. But better disinfect first and not count on the sealer. Hope this helps. :)
