In reply to jamilee john You need a bitewing to determine salvageability. For a 12 year old; if the parents are motivated to save the tooth, total caries removal is also necessary first to determine if the tooth can be reliably saved with RCT for at least 8-10 years before an implant can be used. If Bitewing shows acceptable look and no furcal decay found then RCT and core. Can be done and the tooth observed for six months. If full healing and no symptoms then a crown and hopefully the tooth lasts until she's 21-25
