In reply to Mina Moheb Long established biofilm cases when the tooth has been infected for a long time; also when there's drainage and the tooth can not be dried or there's excessive bleeding. Also, whenever the RCT can not be completed in one visit due to time constraint, it should be left in place as an inter appointment dressing.
