@Joao Costa: sorry for the late reply. The use of lubricants is optional. It’s a matter of preference. Using Single Stroke and Clean or minimizing the number of strokes before wiping the file clean will help reduce the need for any lubricants. The problem with lubricants is that they facilitate packing debris as they keep the debris suspended in the canal. What’s more important is developing habits that limit strokes inside the canal. This is a concept I call Macro Debris Removal. Cheers!
