In this video, Dr. Nasseh describes some anesthesia concepts and defines some important terminology every clinician should know.

          Hello,
I am Dr. Okkar Kyaw from Myanmar. In my practice, I encounter cases of hot tooth very often. Most local dentists use devitalization paste. I have seen some literature that recommend us to use IAN block followed by infiltration, intraosseus, intrapupal and intra canal LA injection. Intra pupal And intra canal injection works really well but the injection is really painful. How can I manage?

Thank you Dr. Okkar. yes, intra pulpal anesthesia should not be our primary anesthesia technique as it really affects the patient negatively with pain. A tutorial on the mandibular block has been planned for a long time. I’ll try to do that sooner. Best wishes! 🙂

Thanks Dr. Allen. Your videos help me a lot to improve my clinical skills. It is very hard for a dentist in my country to get such quality education. Thank you so much for sharing.

                  Hello Dr Nasseh,
I am a dental at a university where they are reluctant to allow us to use anaesthesia especially if the pulp is considered necrotic. One day I had a case where the patient did not feel any pain during caries removal without anaesthetic, however he did start to feel pain during determination of working length and and cleaning and shaping to working length. Do you have any idea how this could be considering that the pulp was necrotic?
