Coronal leakage is the main cause of long term root canal recontaminations. Studies have demonstrated that the quality of the coronal seal is as important, or even possibly more important than the quality of the root canal fill. In this short tutorial Dr. Nasseh discusses some concepts about the importance of quality restorations that help reduce coronal leakage in the long run.
