CBL 30: Curved Roots with ESX 30/02 File! advanced free

In this CBL Dr. Nasseh discusses a unique instrument, the ESX 30/02 Austenitic File.

Description

While preparation with a size 30/02 ESX can create a more minimally invasive look, combining it with an 06 Taper EndoSequence Austenitic or Maratensitic Instrument can result into an interesting combination for specific cases as demonstrated in this clinical case.

Variable Taper preparations with EndoSequence and ESX while using Hydraulic Condensation? Yes! It's possible and may be a faster preparation technique. I'd be interested in your feedback. Let me know. :)

Thank you Dr. Nasseh. I noticed that you performed passive ultrasonics with sodium hypochlorite in the canal and chamber and am curious if you also perform a final rinse with EDTA at 1 min at the end of the procedure to remove the smear layer. Also, what is the name of the song you used in your videos, I'm digging it. Thank you.

@Shant Bedikian: Yes Shant. I do mostly active continuous Ultrasonic irrigation but stop at the end, only in some necrotic teeth and do the EDTA/NaClO PUI to just be a little more thorough. I probably dont do a full minute. Usually 30 sec of each. But I do irrigate with Canal Clean (EDTA/Surfactant/Antiseptic) + NaClO throughout the procedure so, the Spear rayer is being removed throuout the procedure along with the ultrasonic activation. Anyway. Whether that’s a substantial prognostic factor may not be clear, but by the time I’m done usually there’s very little visible debris and thebtact that my EndoVac MicroCanula hardly ever gets blocked seems like empirical evidance that this protocol helps temove macro debris effectively (since I hear from many EndoVac users that they have trouble with the MicroCanula getting clogged, something I hadly ever experience.) What’s your clinical protocol for PUI?

Thank you for your reply Dr. Nasseh. I also use continuous Ultrasonic irrigation throughout the procedure in conjunction with PUI using sodium hypochlorite but I will finish with a 1 min rinse of canal clean from brasseler as well, under PUI. I recall an earlier video on RealWorld, I believe with Dr. Safi, where he showed that it is optimal to use NaOCl and a 1 min PUI rinse with EDTA for optimal results.

@Shant: Well, I can’t say that doing a more thorough job as you are aready doing is a problem. So, keep up the good job. Looks like you’re doing the right things to macimize your outcomes. Best of luck!
